Some days I feel like I've got it all under control. And I kind of have to considering the size of my apartment. There just isn't room to leave my crafting supplies all over the place. Besides the fact that my cats have never seen a nice neat pile that they didn't immediately roll around in.
Right now, I need a bit of inspiration (and cleaning fairies) to swoop in and reorganize for me. So in the spirit of organization this week I've put together some organizational craft tutorials. While I'm usually of the less is more mentality, especially when it comes to organization, I also think it's important to have a beautiful system. And if that means I need to make a few containers, so be it.
I love these toy boxes from This Little Street. Everything has to be put away in my home otherwise my overly curious cats will get into it. So a box like this with a lid is perfect. I am especially in love with those little pink wheels.
The Red Thread has a tutorial for making rope coil vessels which look way more complicated than they are, I think. The tutorial makes it look easy at least. The finished product looks super sophisticated.
While, I have limited wall space, I am a huge sucker for chalkboards. They're popping up everywhere these days. This Wall Organizer How To from Curate This Space looks straightforward and customizable. So you could make something that fits your space and aesthetic.
I have hopes that I'll get myself into an organizing mindset this weekend and whip myself into shape. I keep putting it off and distracting myself with other things.
